​On Wednesday 27/5/1441 AH, The King Fahad National Library received a visit from the President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in Chad, Dr. Muhammad Khatir Issa and the accompanying delegation, currently visiting the Kingdom. They passed through the various departments in the library, including the Kingdom's Department for Information Center, the Department of General Collections and the Department of Manuscripts and Rarities, during the visit, they listened to a detailed explanation​ about the services that the library provides to the researchers and the beneficiaries. In addition, they informed about some of the historical documents and photos displayed in the main lobby of the library. At the end of the visit, the President thanked the library's authority for the hospitality, and he expressed his admiration for the high level of services provided by the Library to researchers and beneficiaries.​​
