On Wednesday, February 22, the Ministry of Culture launched " Almajlis " event at King Fahd National Library, which provided over three days lectures, dialogue meetings, and workshops covering the history of the Saudi state, as part of a range of events and activities organized by the Ministry in celebration of the anniversary of the founding day, which falls on February 22 of each year.
Almajlis included a rich scientific program focusing on various topics of the history, culture and heritage of the Kingdom.
In conjunction with the Council, the Library's headquarters hosted the "Foundation Day" exhibition, in which the Ministry presented rich knowledge content on the founding day, through four sections:
The first is entitled: "An Artist from My Country", a mural exhibition that showcased paintings related to the Saudi state, its culture, and its ancient history in cooperation with local painters.
The second: "Melodies from My Country" included a piece of Saudi musical melodies, while the third: " The Arts of Calligraphy " embodied the beauty of Arabic calligraphy with the original symbols of the founding day slogan.
The "Our History Through Our Eyes" section reviewed the speeches of the kings and the crown prince on the founding day, in addition to displaying a group of historical photos.
